Frequently Asked Questions About Vaginal Rejuvenation
- Posted on: Jan 30 2019
If you’ve found yourself starting to think more about your vagina, you may not be as crazy as some may think. As we get older, it’s important to understand the things we should expect. The way we age may differ person to person, but women often experience the same things, or at least some of the same things. Case in point, we may start to worry about bladder control issues as we go about our daily lives. If you’re worried every time you sneeze, or you’ve started wearing pantyliners, “just in case,” then keep reading. We have a treatment that may help you out!
Vaginal rejuvenating techniques, like V-Lase, are becoming more common. Women like the option of being able to take back the most intimate part of their lives. And it’s silly to live with a problem without at least investigating possible solutions.
What can be treated with Vaginal Rejuvenation?
-
- Pain and dissatisfaction during sexual intercourse
-
- Lack of natural lubrication
-
- Lack of sensation during intercourse
-
- Vaginal inflammation
- Bladder leakage
How long does it take to perform?
We perform V-Lase, because it offers great results without requiring downtime or for women to sit through an uncomfortable treatment. Women may feel warmth while undergoing the procedure, but this is completely normal. V-Lase don’t require sedation or anesthetic, and only takes a short appointment.
What is recovery like?
Because V-Lase is a gentle, non-invasive procedure, there is no downtime after your appointment. While we do recommend that you wait around a week to have sexual intercourse after your V-Lase treatment, some patients have skipped that recommendation and have reported great results.
Am I a good candidate?
Dr. Fisher will perform a pelvic exam prior to your V-Lase, to make sure that you are a good candidate for this procedure. If you are a good candidate, then the procedure may last between a half hour and an hour.
Valentine’s Day is coming up, and you may be ready for your V-Lase consultation! If you’re interested in the benefits that vaginal rejuvenation can offer, contact us to schedule a consultation.
